No matter how many times I watch this, it still gives me the goosies ...I absolutely Love David Cook and this is one of my all-time favorite performances ever on Idol ...

When this song came out I lost my 11 year old rottweiller, he was my bestfriend and was an amazing dog, for a breed with such a bad reputation, he was very kind and empathic, playfull when younger and a fighter when sick, the day he died he couldn't stand up even if he tried as I went to say hello just before leaving to school. A few hours later I got a call from home saying he died, he fought to the very end and said goodbye in his own way. I went back home and carried him to the vet who took him to cremate. Everytime I listen to this song I remember him.
